Happy Chinese new year or, as they say in the hood, Gong Xi Fa Cai!! (Or Xin Nian Kuai Le as they say in alternate hoods. And Xing Ni Ju Yi to my Hokkien friends).
It’s the year of the Dragon, which just so happens to be my year. And I’m hoping it will be my year.
I was born a dragon many moons ago, and, as far as it went, been reasonably happy with that – the Dragon is the most auspicious of all the Chinese signs. I’m a wood dragon.
I think the Rabbit had myxomatosis. Ordinary year all round, and good to see it done and dusted. Bring on the year of the Dragon. 新年快乐
